Egyptian men sitting in a store for Khayameya products, the tent market, Egyptian folk art, Khayameya, the "aplique" craft in Egypt has a long history. It was brought to Egypt centuries ago, and today it is practiced by the tent makers located on Al-Khaimia Street, south of Bab Zuweila in Cairo.
