Entrance to the Hanging Church in Cairo, Egypt ,The reason for calling it the “Hanging Church” is because it was built on two ancient towers of the Roman fort known as the “Babylon Fortress.” The church was also built at a height of 13 meters from the surface of the ground, and the church was built in the late fourth and early fifth centuries AD.
