Itmesh al-Bajasi Mosque

Itmesh al-Bajasi Mosque was built by Prince Saif al-Din Itmesh al-Bajasi al-Zahiri in the year 785 AH (1383 AD) during the days of Sultan al-Zahir Barquq, the founder of the Burji Mamluk state (1382-1389 AD). The mosque is currently located on Bab al-Wazir Street in the al-Darb al-Ahmar section
